Your complete guide to the Campfire Show

campfireHere’s our handy FAQ for our fall show!

What’s the time/date of the show?

Saturday, September 19
6:30: Pre-show potluck & music
7:00: Stories begin

What should I bring?
Warm clothes, maybe an extra blanket just in case. A snack to share (encouraged but not required).

campfireWhere is this place?
The Little House of Glencoe (690 Birch Rd, Glencoe, IL 60022) is just off of 94. If you’re coming from the city, you get off 94 at Dundee and then travel about 3 miles to the destination.

What if I don’t have a car?
We have lots of people with cars who are happy to offer a ride. Let us know (email storysessionschicago at gmail.com) and we’ll get you there and back.

Is this different than other shows?
The format is similar as we have music, 6 storytellers and our fantastic resident artist drawing the stories. But this show is a little more casual as it’s outdoors. Food will be picnic/potluck style. And did we mention the fire? And the s’mores? And the hot dogs?

Can I bring my kids?
As always, there is adult content in the stories so it is not advised. Teens can be accompanied by adults- if you have specific kid questions, please let us know.

Are there tickets?
Yes! Tickets can be purchased here. We encourage advance tickets as all of our smaller shows have sold out.

What if it rains?
Forecast for Saturday is 60 and sunny but if we get any rain, we will gather around the fireplace inside and have stories, s’mores and cider there!

Are there bathrooms?
Yes- inside the cabin.

Can I bring my dog?
If your dog will not interrupt the show, sure! Dogs must be kept on a leash and away from chocolate…may be best not to bring!

What should I do right now?

See you Saturday!
